Get involved – Slough Jets trials opportunities The Slough Jets are pleased to be able to offer trials opportunities to both junior and senior players with their SJJA or NIHL trials. Starting in May trials will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at varying times for varying age groups and NIHL trials will be on Fridays. Slough Jets bid goodbye to Frankie
The Slough Jets are saddened to announce that Frantisek Bakrlik will not be returning to the Montem Lane club for the 2013/14 season. In a tough competitive market there are more and more teams able to put together more attractive packages which entice players away.
Frantisek Bakrlik was the signing of the summer last season, joining the Jets from the EIHL where he played for Hull, Coventry and Fife. Bakrlik was without doubt the highest skilled player in the EPL and finished the season as top scorer for the Jets with 86 points from 59 appearances. Early discussions to retain his services proved very positive however it has turned out not possible to retain the high scoring import for next season.
Jets Director of Operations Steve English said; "We're sorry to see Frankie go. He was a great asset to the team last season and I'm gutted that the club were not able to agree terms to retain his services. I wish him well for the future and I'm sure he'll be a great success whatever team he signs for in the future."
